Thank you for visiting the official website of
The Don't Quit Your Day Job Dancers.
Doree Clark choreographed her first show at age 10 in Queens, New York. Over in Queens, Doree was the kid on the block who had all the pizzazz.
But she was a "tiny bit" bossy. So she forced the other kids to put on a show.
They found a basement somewhere and put on the show - with costumes and everything.
That's when our dance company really started. Way back then. We'd follow Doree anywhere. We get swept up in her immense energy, and put on shows with her.
She's got 100 or so people behind her at any given moment and she leads them into the world of show business day after
day. We could just as easily be those kids in that basement - in fact, in a certain sense we are.
That's why we do it. Because we love Doree. Oh yeah, and we have a TON of fun!
